Your Back Office Is Already in Copilot. Your Shopify Loyalty Data Wasn't — Until Now.
Direct Answer If your retail back office runs on Dynamics 365 Business Central and Microsoft 365/Teams — with Shopify or Shopify Plus as the storefront — your Copilot can now run three guided diagnostics against your real Shopify data (revenue leaks, at-risk members, underperforming campaigns) and confirm a win-back reward for a customer in the same conversation. The diagnostics work for any merchant today. The reward-issuance step is demo-scoped to one sample store while broader merchant enablement is built out. Shipped as the 6.0.11 Partner Center release on August 23, 2026; the current live build, 6.0.13, went through certification and published on September 14, 2026 — a compliance and validation-hardening update, not a change to what's described here.
This isn't about "retail in Copilot." It's about a specific desk.
A lot of AI-in-retail coverage talks about "retail" as if it's one undifferentiated job. It isn't. Most frontline store staff are deskless — they don't have a Teams seat, and Copilot isn't part of their day.
The person this post is for sits somewhere else: the loyalty, CRM, or marketing seat on a team whose back office already runs on Business Central, with Shopify or Shopify Plus as the actual storefront. That combination isn't a hypothetical — Microsoft has sold a native Shopify connector for Business Central since 2021, built explicitly around "keep Shopify as the storefront, run BC as the ERP." Third-party integration write-ups describe multi-store Shopify merchants adopting that pattern specifically to get order processing out of spreadsheets and into BC.
If that's your stack, you already open Teams every day. What hasn't been true until now is that your Shopify loyalty data was part of that conversation.
What actually shipped
Here's the honest, current scope — no more, no less.
-
Three guided diagnostic journeys, run inside the Copilot conversation itself:
- Revenue-leak finder — flags where the loyalty program is leaking value.
- Retain / member-save-priority — ranks at-risk members by who to save first.
- Campaign-underperformance diagnosis — flags a promotion that isn't hitting targets.
Each works with built-in sample data, an uploaded CSV, or a real Shopify export read from OneDrive.
-
A confirmed win-back reward action. Copilot can review a customer, propose a 100/250/500-point reward, and — on your confirmation — issue it and hand back a transaction ID and updated balance.

Release: shipped as the 6.0.11 Partner Center release on August 23, 2026. A certification and validation-hardening update, 6.0.13, followed and went live on September 14, 2026 — wording fixes and more robust Shopify metrics parsing, no new capability.
Where this actually stands today
This is the part we want to be plain about, because an earlier post on this blog got ahead of the product.
The diagnostics — revenue leaks, retention risk, campaign performance — are usable now, by any merchant, with sample data or their own Shopify export.
The reward-issuance step is demo-scoped to one configured sample store today. Other merchants need to install the StabileRewards Shopify app, and general issuance isn't enabled yet. If you try it against your own store right now, you'll see the diagnostics but not a live reward action — that's expected, not a bug.
We're saying this directly because a prior post here (from April) described a broader Agent 365 capability set — adjusting points, recalculating tiers, reversing rewards, available to selected M365 tenants — that doesn't match what's actually live. This post is the corrected version: a smaller, fully-backed claim rather than a roadmap dressed up as a shipped feature.
Why this matters even at this scope
Microsoft's own retail-Copilot narrative already assumes the desk-based, multi-system stack this post describes — Copilot as the layer that sits across Microsoft 365, Teams, Dynamics 365 Commerce, and Business Central for the people already living in those tools. Loyalty has been a visible thread in that push elsewhere, too: Microsoft and Target have piloted Copilot surfacing Target Circle benefits directly in a shopping-assistant flow. Target isn't a Shopify merchant, so that's not proof of this exact overlap — but it's a clear signal of direction: loyalty data is getting pulled into Copilot-native experiences generally, not just as a Shopify-specific experiment.
For a loyalty or CRM person already working out of Teams all day, the practical shift is small but real: the same conversational surface that already touches your ERP data can now answer "where are we leaking revenue" or "who's about to churn" using your actual Shopify numbers, without a separate dashboard login.
What to try this week
- Run the revenue-leak diagnostic against a real Shopify export from OneDrive — not the sample data — and see what it flags.
- Use the retain / member-save-priority view to pull a short list of at-risk high-value members before your next retention push.
- If you're on the configured sample store, try the win-back reward flow end to end so you know exactly what it will look like once broader issuance opens up.
Frequently Asked Questions
What is Loyalty Manager Copilot AI? A StabileRewards product for Microsoft 365 tenants who manage loyalty programs. It gives loyalty, CRM, and marketing teams a conversational layer inside Copilot for diagnosing Shopify loyalty performance and, for one configured sample store, confirming a win-back reward.
What are the three guided Shopify diagnostic journeys? A revenue-leak finder, a retain / member-save-priority view, and a campaign-underperformance diagnosis. Each runs on built-in sample data, an uploaded CSV, or a real Shopify export read from OneDrive.
Can any Shopify merchant issue a win-back reward through Copilot today? No. The confirm-and-issue reward action is demo-scoped to one configured sample store while the flow is being proven out. Other merchants need to install the StabileRewards Shopify app; general issuance isn't enabled yet.
What shipped in the 6.0.11 release? The three guided Shopify diagnostic journeys and the confirmed win-back reward action, published to Partner Center on August 23, 2026.
Is 6.0.13 a new feature release? No. It's a certification and validation-hardening update — cleaned-up listing wording and more robust parsing of uploaded Shopify metrics — that cleared certification and went live on September 14, 2026. It doesn't change the capabilities described in this post.
Does this replace what an earlier post here said about Agent 365? Yes. An April post on this blog described broader Agent-365 capability — adjusting points, recalculating tiers, reversing rewards, available to selected M365 tenants — that doesn't match what's actually live. This post is the corrected, current scope.
Do I need Dynamics 365 Business Central to use this? No. Business Central is the common back-office pattern behind Shopify + Microsoft 365 merchants, and it's why this post frames the reader the way it does — but Loyalty Manager Copilot AI itself only requires Microsoft 365 Copilot and a Shopify store or export.
